I’m switching how this blog gets written: by hand first, then scanned and transcribed here, instead of typing straight into a screen. I never actually stopped filling notebooks, even during the years this blog sat quiet, so this is mostly just me publishing what I was already writing anyway. Here’s the longer version of why.
The first real post to come out of it just went up: How I Found My Fountain Pen Community (By Accident). It’s the short version of how a random conversation with an old friend turned into finding a whole local community of fountain pen collectors and artists I didn’t know existed, kicking off a small series about everything that happened after.
